How to assemble your PC?

Below are the steps to assemble your PC :

Step 1: Install the Processor on the Motherboard



Step 2: Install the Heatsink on Processor



                Place the heatsink with fan on top of the processor. Then, clip the heatsink and fan on the motherboard. Pluq in the fan connector onto the motherboard for the power supply purpose.

Step 3: Install the Memory into the DIMM Slots



                Find out the memory slots or DIMM slot for DDR-RAM memory type. Carefully inspect the DIMM slots and gently line up the RAM module on the DIMM slots. Press both end modules simultaneously until the white lock at the end snap the RAM module.

Step 4: Install the motherboard into a Computer Case




                Remove all the screws at the case and lay down the side panel. Make sure the motherboard can be mounted at the suitable side panel. Next, make sure we check out the input/output plate at the back side of the case. Then, carefully screw the motherboard and mount it.

Step 5: Installing Power Supply


                Install the Power Supply into the case (left) and screws al four parts to hold the power supply. Next, attach the power cord into the power supply socket at the motherboard.

Step 6: Install the IDE Connector



                Only one of the IDE connector is provided inside the motherboard package. The IDE connector can be differentiated according to their size. IDE cable connectors can have more than two connectors per one IDE cable.

Step 7: Installing the Hard Disk (HDD)



                Once, the IDE cable is plug into the IDE connector on the motherboard , then the hard disk are ready for the next plug in. Kindly, identify the hard disk section  on the rear side of the drive. The leftmost section of the hard drivers is were the IDE/SATA connector located. There are many pins attached to the socket. In between of the power connector socket and IDE/SATA connector SATA, located the jumper pins. By default , new hard disk is setting as master position. The setting can be change by using the jumper and follow the at hard disk labelling that have been stick to it.

                The changes of the setting are depends on what is the computer configuration setting whether it will be salve or other purposes by using the same IDE cable.

                Before, the power connector is plug into the drives, make sure the HDD is mounted already to the case at suitable location on the computer case. Tighten the HDD with screws provided.
                Next , insert the IDE /SATA cables design are typically the same to the connector.

Step 8: IDE/SATA Cable Connector



                Next, connect the other end of IDE/SATA cable connectors to the primary IDE/SATA socket on the motherboard. Kindly ensure that Pin 1 is attached to the IDE/SATA socket.

Step 9: Install the expansion card (optional)

                Check first that the card that is about to be install are compatible with the motherboard and operating system. You may ask the supplier before buying the other additional cards.

                Then, keyed the expansion card into the PCI slots at motherboard. Press down the network card slowly until it snap into PCI slot. Screw the card’s metal bracket into the screw hole over the expansion slot at the back to the case.

                Close the slide case by screwing it. Next check out the external power cables especially CPU and some time monitor cable before you turn on the PC.

                Plug in the 15 ~pin male monitor cable to the video card female connector. Once finish checking installation and assemble, you may now power on the desktop PC.
